Solving hunger will take more than handing out food. Our Network takes a broad approach that includes research into the unique problems and underlying causes of hunger, the associated social and health implications, and developing strategic partnerships to address the issue. Some programs and activities are common to all Florida food banks while others are unique and developed as a response to the needs and resources of specific communities. Feeding Florida focuses its resources on programs that benefit every community and add significant value to the work of our members, such as the statewide produce initiative, Farmers Feeding Florida and coordinating statewide Disaster Response.  For other issues related to hunger and nutrition, we provide a unified voice on hunger-related issues and advocate on relevant issues at the state and federal level.
