Our Work

Fresh Access Bucks

Fresh Access Bucks

Fresh Access Bucks (FAB), Feeding Florida’s USDA-funded statewide nutrition incentive program, increases access and affordability of fresh, Florida-grown produce for food-insecure Floridians at farmers markets, produce stands, CSAs, mobile markets, and community grocery stores.

FAB increases the purchasing power of SNAP recipients to buy fresh fruits and vegetables. Once they find a participating location, they shop with their SNAP/EBT card. For every $1 they spend in SNAP/EBT, they earn an extra $1 to use toward fresh, Florida-grown fruits and vegetables!

Feeding Florida believes in addressing food access, affordability, and nutrition education by working with the entire food system. FAB takes this approach from producer to consumer to build healthy, resilient communities supported by robust local food systems.

For more details on exactly how FAB works or to find a participating outlet near you, visit our dedicated FAB website.
