At Feeding Florida, the mission is to end hunger and address its root causes by advocating for statewide policies and programs, engaging stakeholders, and directing resources to food bank members. By grounding advocacy in real experience and comprehensive data, we ensure that decision makers have the information they need about their communities to make informed policy decisions.

  • Building Resilience – Many of the families our food banks serve want to rebound from setbacks—whether job loss, medical bills, or unexpected expenses—so they can regain independence. Beyond food distribution, the network supports career pathways and financial education, transforming today’s recipients into tomorrow’s contributors.
  • Nutrition Centered – The connections between food insecurity and poor health needs deeper solutions than solving hunger with a meal. Investments in nutrition education improve health outcomes and reduce healthcare related costs.
