Disaster Response

Feeding Florida is an integral part of Florida’s Division of Emergency Management State Mass Care team, helping to plan response and recovery activities and to serve our neighbors when disaster strikes.

Feeding the Gulf Coast, our food bank in the Panhandle, is actively serving the Central Gulf Coast in the aftermath of Hurricane Isaias.

As a result of Hurricane Isaias, a State of Emergency was put in effect for 25 Florida counties:
Baker, Bay, Calhoun, Columbia, Dixie, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gilchrist, Gulf, Hamilton, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Lafayette, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Suwannee, Taylor, Walton, Wakulla and Washington.
